Novasans are media partners to the Oxford Summit of Leaders

September 29, 2010

We are happy to be presenting anther important media partnership, this time with the established Oxford Summit of Leaders. The event, held in Oxford, England, October 10th to 13th, works as an ideal forum for European leaders to connect, strengthen their positions and generate business on behalf of their country.

The summit is now in its 6th year, and will draw together more than 150 delegates and key influencers in politics, education, business and scientific advancement. However, the independency from governments and political organizations makes a strong focus on commerciality.

Some of the issues discussed are “Greater Europe: a new framework of relations with the Eastern and Southern neighbors”, and “Higher education in context of Greater Europe”. In the evening of the 11th of October, the XLVII Socrates Awards Ceremony will also be held together with a gala dinner.

One of the focuses for this year’s healthcare professional attendees will be on a working meeting at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, where a new Heart Center opened in 2009, positioning the center as one of the leading providers for high quality patient care in the UK.

Novasans is happy to support the event, serving as an excellent meeting ground for healthcare providers and medical representatives from all over Europe.

Today, Novasans are proud to present our media partnership to Malta Medical Tourism Summit 2010. This will be the second Malta Medical Tourism Summit, and will be held at the Corinthia Hotel St. George’s Bay on Malta. The last year’s summit was a big success with nearly 100 senior figures from 19 countries. The official organizer of the summit – Europe Business Assembly – hopes that this year’s event will attract even more delegates.

The Europe Business Assembly (EBA) is an independent international project-development and management organization, running multi-national business events worldwide.

The opening speaker is Peter Meli, Director of foreign investments of ‘Malta Enterprise’ Corporation. His opening speech will be followed by others by for instance Dr Josie Muscat, Chairman at St James Hospital Group, Keith Pollard, Managing Director of Intuition Communication Ltd, and Prof. Steven Green at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Britain.

The summit will address issues regarding the growth of medical tourism as the industry is entering a new phase, where questions are being raised not only by the traveling patients but also by government health ministers, public and private hospitals, facilitators, medical organizations and insurance companies all over the world. It will also outline best practice, new processes and new thinking, which will help medical tourism move forward with confidence.

The summit, taking place 2-6 June 2010, is one of the key events for global healthcare tourism in Europe this year, and Novasans will be one of an exclusive number of media partners covering the event.
